I gave this product 5 stars simply because it really worked well for me.I'm 24, I have pale, slightly sensitive, typical combination skin - a little oily and prone to break outs on my T-zone, but prone to dryness everywhere else. I live in NYC, so it's moderate to low humidity right now (I didn't have this cleanser in the summer, so I don't know how it performs in high humidity). It's very frustrating trying to find the right cleanser for combination skin. Either they're over-drying, or they're ineffective against the breakouts. I've tried many, and up until now Neutrogena seemed to be the best brand, but I'm totally converted now.I've been using this face wash for about three weeks and my skin is just about flawless. I still get a spot now and then, of course; no cleanser is made of magic and fairy dust. But this is the clearest I can remember my skin being. Not only that, but my skin doesn't seem irritated at all. It looks healthy, not parched or pink, and yet this cleanser does a really good job of taking all my makeup off. Actually, even the fine lines around my eyes are gone. Mind you, I'm not claiming this cleanser has anti-aging properties. I think what happened is that the acne cleansers I had been using before were over-drying parts of my face and the lack of moisture balance was the only reason I had fine lines in the first place. Now that my skin feels balanced and happy, it's prettier than it's ever looked. I've stopped putting foundation and powder on altogether - I just use a bit concealer and I'm out the door. I'm very very happy with this purchase. It's nice to finally get to write a glowing review for a change! Will absolutely re-buy this product. If you have combination skin, give Murad a shot. It worked wonders for me, so it's worth a try, right?
