Revision Intellishade is a great sunscreen/moisturizer that matches your skin tone.I use this as my basic foundation.A tip to get the most from the tube: when you can’t squeeze any more out, cut the bottom end off. You will be surprised how much of the product is left. At least another week’s worth. I store the open tube in a baggie to keep it from drying out.
As a man, you have to be careful with these type of creams. You don’t want to look like you’re wearing make up. This is a very mild product that blends well with your natural skin. Don’t expect something like this to be a cover-up like make up. It just slightly smooths out your natural skin and won’t appear like you’re wearing make up like other products. I also have sensitive eyes and this product doesn’t cause irritation. The sun protection is great. It is expensive so it may be worth cutting the product open after it is empty. I saw other reviewers say to do this and after I tried it, I was pretty shocked how much is left in there.
I do love the intellishade. I just prefer the original over matte. I have “normal” skin when it comes to dry vs oily and I think the original intellishade goes on more naturally for me. Still a great product!
I have been using this product in matte for the last 3 years. I use a wet beauty blender to apply it and that method works flawlessly. Doing it this way wastes some of the product but it is worth it to me for the look. If I try to blend with my fingers, it makes a mess. This is the only spf for the face (I have tried many) that doesn’t break me out or settle into fine lines and leaves my skin glowing. I prep my skin with skinceuticals C E Ferulic. For reference, I am in my late 30’s and live in South Florida.
